Warren Easton Charter High School To Hold Golf Tournament To Benefit School Friday

NEW ORLEANS – On Friday, Oct. 13, Warren Easton Charter High School will hold its annual golf tournament to benefit the Warren Easton Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholarship Fund, which awards college scholarships to graduating seniors.

         The tournament will be held at the North Course at City Park, 1051 Filmore Ave.

         Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. with a Putting Contest at 11:30 a.m. and a Shotgun Start at 12:30 p.m.

         Format of the tournament will be four-man scramble. An awards ceremony will take place after the last ball drops with prizes given for first, second and third place winners, closest to pin, and the longest drive. The ceremony will take place at the South Course Club House with a BBQ Buffet.

         The cost for green fee and cart will be $80 per golfer with group packages and sponsorships available. Refreshments are included.
