Video Game Festival Comes To NOLA Motorsports Park


 NEW ORLEANS — IGL Foundation (IGLF) is calling all gamers for the 3rd Annual NOLA Gaming Fest, June 8 through 10 at NOLA Motorsports Park. The event will span three days and will reach all areas of gaming including video and table top games.

June 8—Field Day: Kids of all ages will compete for prizes by engaging in competitions and activities including STEM demonstrations, board gaming, video gaming, outdoor battles, spacewalks, water slides, drone racing, go-karting, rock climbing, obstacle courses, water balloon battles, and more!

June 9—Amateur Gaming League Championship hosted by We Dat’s Chicken & Shrimp with onsite and online tournaments in NBA 2K18, Fifa 18, The Show 18, and Madden 18 with scholarship programs for STEM education.

June 10—Youth League Sunday: Tournaments in Fortnite, NBA 2K18, Smash Bros, Rocket League, and more! IGL Foundation team members will present on Entrepreneurship and Digital Technology programs to be offered with their Summer Camp Program. Scholarships for winnings will be given throughout the day to promote student success in competitions.
