University of Holy Cross Fall Enrollment Increases

Uhc 1 1NEW ORLEANS – The University of Holy Cross total enrollment for fall 2020 recorded an increase of 3.4% from fall 2019. This marks UHC’s first fall-over-fall enrollment increase since 2017.

Officials announced the final student enrollment number for the fall 2020 semester as 1,136. University officials attribute the increase to the growth of the school’s Ph.D. in counseling program and new dual enrollment offerings.

Additionally, the University of Holy Cross received its second ranking in school history on U.S. News & World Report’s “Regional Universities, South” list. In UHC’s second year on the prestigious list, the New Orleans university received a ranking of 99th for 2021.

“The commitment, dedication and hard work of the entire UHC family was rewarded this week with our boost in enrollment and our latest ranking in U.S. News & World Report’s University Ranking,” said UHC President Stanton McNeely. “Our entire team is extremely motivated by this momentum and can’t wait to work even harder to increase our enrollment and ranking in 2022.”
