The JCVB Welcomes Lisa Taylor
NEW ORLEANS – The Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. announced Lisa Taylor as the new JCVB Vice President of Destination Marketing, Sales and Services.
Taylor has been in the hospitality industry since 1980. Through the years she has worked various positions including Banquet Manager, Catering Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, and for the last fifteen years she has been the Area Director of Sales & Marketing for ACI- Hotel Division which includes The Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel in Metairie, The Best Western Plus French Quarter Landmark Hotel & The Clarion Grand Boutique Hotel on St. Charles Avenue. Taylor has been successful with obtaining and retaining local, national and international business for all three hotels.
In the late nineties Jefferson Parish President's office formed a Tourism Committee and Taylor was asked to participate due to her knowledge of the hospitality industry and insight on where marketing efforts should be focused. Her efforts, along with the other committee members, led to the development of the Jefferson Parish "Tourism Office," which led to the creation of the Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. Taylor has served various positions from Chair of the Board to Marketing Committee Chair.
