The Daily Beet’s Third Location To Open Thursday, Aug. 8 On Magazine

The new Uptown locale opens its doors this Thursday at 3300 Magazine starting at 8:00 a.m.

NEW ORLEANS – The Daily Beet is thrilled to announce the official opening of its third location in the Garden District. Details were shared in a press release.

Located on the corner of Toledano and Magazine, the restaurant will continue its healthy fast-casual dining experience with an expanded focus on brunch items like vegan banana oat pancakes (served with strawberry cashew crema, toasted walnuts, fresh fruit, and maple syrup) and a beet Benedict (served on Bellegarde country loaf with avocado mash, poached eggs, miso-beet hollandaise, fresh herbs, and spinach).

The Garden District eatery features a laid-back schoolhouse interior, thanks to local architecture firm Concordia and design and fabrication firm GoodWood NOLA. Throughout the Thursday opening, The Daily Beet will be donating all cash proceeds to Grow Dat.

WHY:
Since opening, The Daily Beet has become the health food staple of the CBD, frequented by a heavy rotation of regular diners, from CBD lunch-ers to sunday brunchers, and even Saints running back Alvin Kamara. For customers on the other side of the Interstate, expanding The Daily Beet to Uptown provides a more convenient option for people seeking a healthy meal. “I’m proud to be growing the business, but mostly grateful to the community,” says Maisel, who accredits much of The Daily Beet’s success to “the simple fact that people are hungry for more healthy dining options in New Orleans.”
