The Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine at Tulane University holds the honor of being the first dedicated teaching kitchen housed at a medical school. The 4,600-square-foot facility opened in August 2014 and is now led by Program Director and Chef Leah Sarris, who, in addition to teaching culinary medicine to medical students, offers community cooking classes.
