Senior VP of RE/MAX Commercial Brokers Achieves SIOR Designation
NEW ORLEANS — Martin O. Miller III, CCIM, SIOR of RE/MAX Commercial Brokers Inc. has achieved the SIOR office designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®. SIOR is a Washington, DC-based international professional organization of more than 3,000 commercial real estate professionals, 2,800 of whom have earned the coveted SIOR designation. Details were shared in a press release.
To achieve the SIOR designation, Miller completed five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of office real estate, met stringent education requirements, and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct and personal integrity.
Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in more than 630 cities in 29 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and required designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.
Miller has been in commercial real estate for over 23 years and is the senior vice president of RE/MAX Commercial Brokers, Inc. He holds a real estate license in Louisiana and Mississippi and also holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. CCIM designees are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate.
Miller has been recognized by the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR) for his achievements in commercial real estate and served as the President of the Commercial Investment Division (CID).
