NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan is joining with United Way of Southeast Louisiana to help raise funds via GoFundMe to support immediate response and long-term recovery efforts for areas of Louisiana affected by Hurricane Laura.

The five-time NFL Pro Bowler is challenging fans to give back or pay it forward to their neighbors in the areas surrounding Lake Charles. He’s kicking off the fundraising effort with a personal contribution of $15,000.

100% of proceeds will support United Way’s response for residents and community partners in Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jefferson Davis parishes.

The public can make a donation at bit.ly/CamJordanUnited.
