Royal Sonesta New Orleans Names Sales Manager
NEW ORLEANS – The Royal Sonesta New Orleans announced the addition of Will Webre as the hotel's sales manager. Webre will focus his expertise on group markets along the west coast domestically in addition to expanding international business opportunities. Specifically, he will oversee booking groups while working with each from point of arrival throughout their experience at Royal Sonesta New Orleans thus ensuring the highest caliber of professional service possible. Additional responsibilities include soliciting new business while maintaining and servicing existing hotel accounts.
Prior to joining the Royal Sonesta New Orleans, Webre was responsible for all sales and sponsorships at New Orleans Ernst N. Morial Convention Center as the site's trade shows sales manager. Additionally, he served as sales manager at both the Hotel Monteleone and the InterContinental New Orleans.
As sales manager, Webre reports directly to Brigette Folse, director of sales and marketing at Royal Sonesta New Orleans. "Will's comprehensive knowledge of the area's burgeoning hotel industry combined with his extensive sales experience makes him the perfect candidate for this key hotel position,” says Folse. “Will's disciplined work ethic and interactive skills blend seamlessly with our team. I look forward to working with him."
Will Webre obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. He served our country honorably for seven years as a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
