Rolling Stones Jazz Fest Tix Still Available Via Joieful, Jung Hotel
Wild horses couldn’t drag Nick Eckhardt away from watching The Rolling Stones storm the Acura Stage at the upcoming 50th anniversary of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell.
“When I heard The Rolling Stones were performing at the hottest festival of the year, I knew getting tickets would be next to impossible,” said Eckhardt.
Eckhardt and his wife Marybeth, both 39, live in Charlotte, North Carolina. They didn’t have a nervous breakdown during the locals’ presale at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, when they couldn’t buy $185 tickets for Thursday, May 2, when The Rolling Stones are scheduled to perform. They didn’t get any satisfaction from Ticketmaster when tickets went on sale to the general public and sold out within three hours. And they weren’t shattered when the $675 WWOZ Brass Passes sold out, which would have guaranteed them access to see the band with an additional day-specific ticket purchase.
“I didn’t even try,” said Eckhardt. “My ticket journey started and stopped with Joieful.”
