R+L Carriers Extends Partnership With New Orleans Bowl Through 2021

NEW ORLEANS – R+L Carriers has renewed its partnership with the New Orleans Bowl, maintaining its role as title sponsor of the annual bowl game through 2021.

         “R+L Carriers is honored to extend our commitment to the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation in continuing our sponsorship of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl,” said R+L Carriers VP of Marketing Greg Bronner. “This relationship reflects our support for the people and spirit of New Orleans and the young men and women that will be the foundation for our future.  It is our goal to be part of an impact, much bigger than the game.”

         R+L Carriers has served as title sponsor of the New Orleans Bowl since 2005. Through the years under the sponsorship of R+L carriers and the management of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, New Orleans Bowl has grown to be a staple in the leisure travel calendar for the city of New Orleans, company reps said. The bowl and its surrounding activities provide plenty of fun and football for visiting fans and locals alike, they said.

         “Having R+L Carriers as the title sponsor for the New Orleans Bowl has been a blessing to our organization,” Paul Valteau Jr., chairman of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, said. “Over the last 11 years and for the next five to come, we look forward to continuing this tremendous partnership.”

         The R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl and its affiliated events continue to grow and create significant impact on the city of New Orleans generating an estimated economic impact of $20 million annually, event organizers said. The game is played in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and features a matchup between teams from the Sun Belt Conference and Conference USA.
