Restaurant R'evolution Hosts 5th Anniversary VIP Celebration

NEW ORLEANS — Restaurant R’evolution, the renowned fine-dining establishment located at 777 Bienville St. inside the newly renovated Royal Sonesta New Orleans hotel, commemorated five years in the heart of the French Quarter with a VIP soiree and a toast to the restaurant’s success on Wednesday, July 12.
Restaurant R’evolution’s founders, Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto, were on hand with Chef de Cuisine Jana Billiot to greet guests and treat them to a menu of delicacies, including original menu items from the restaurant's opening season, as well as a special glimpse into the exhibition-style kitchen.
Folse and Tramonto were joined by Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser, Secretary of State Tom Schedler, culinary icon Leah Chase, Louisiana Restaurant Association president and CEO Stan Harris and Royal Sonesta New Orleans General Manager Al Groos.
Since its start in June 2012, Restaurant R’evolution continues to offer a unique and revered fine dining experience, based on its core culinary philosophy of evolving the food of the seven nations that formed Louisiana’s culture and cuisine, reps said.
"I send everyone to R'evolution, because it's what you need in life,” said Leah Chase.
Recognized by OpenTable, The Daily Meal, Thrillist, New Orleans Magazine and Eater.com, the award-winning innovative eatery now looks to the future, as Chefs Folse and Tramonto both assured guests the best is yet to come.
“We’ll see you in five more years, as we celebrate once again to honor 10 years!” said Folse.
