NEW ORLEANS – On Wednesday, June 3, 2015, the World Trade Center of New Orleans will host the second installment of its 2015 Executive Speaker Series at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place, 11th floor, Crescent Ballroom, at 100 Iberville St.

         The event will feature Grayson Hall, Chairman, President and CEO of Regions Financial Corporation. Hall will discuss the current operating environment and impacts from economic conditions and cybersecurity on Regions’ business model and the financial industry as a whole.

         A VIP meet and greet, registration and networking begins at 8:00 a.m., and the program begins with breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

         Hall, 57, leads Regions’ Operating Committee and Executive Council. Hall began his banking career when he joined Regions’ Management Training Program in 1980. He has served in roles of increasing responsibility including Operations, Technology, Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. Hall was elected Vice Chairman and a member of the Boards of Directors of Regions Financial Corporation and Regions Bank in 2008 and was named president and chief operating officer in October 2009. He was named president and chief executive officer in April 2010 and assumed his current role of chairman, president and chief executive officer in May 2013.

         Hall graduated from The University of the South, Sewanee, TN, in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. In 1980, he received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking.

         Hall serves on the public company boards of Vulcan Materials and ZEP Inc. In addition, he serves on the board of the Birmingham Business Alliance and as a director on the boards of the Newcomen Society of Alabama and the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama. Hall also serves as a representative on the Federal Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank.

         The Executive Speaker Series (ESS) is a four-part series held annually by the World Trade Center of New Orleans. The ESS was created in order to expose Louisiana businesses to insights from national industry leaders. Featuring a wide variety of speakers from diverse industries, the speaker series allows attendees to expand their network while learning about industry wide best practices.
