The Ray Brandt Auto Group was founded by Ray Brandt in 1983 on the Westbank of New Orleans with a single Datsun dealership. Today, the Group boasts 13 dealerships across Louisiana and Mississippi along with six collision centers as a one-stop-shop for all automotive needs. Ray Brandt Auto Group manufacturers include Mercedes Benz, Porsche, INFINITI, Genesis, Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, KIA, Hyundai, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and Chevrolet.

Since becoming CEO, Jessica Brandt has played a critical role in the company’s continued success as one of the largest auto dealers on the Gulf Coast.

“Last spring, when the pandemic reached a fever pitch, I had to consider how this crisis impacted our business strategy and what the path to business renewal and growth would be,” says Brandt. “My focus was making this company as efficient as possible.”

Realizing that big changes were necessary, Brandt identified ways to increase the team’s effectiveness, which included utilizing normalized hours with better compensation. Despite supply chain issues, she has kept all locations open to meet the public’s needs and credits her management team with helping her change the way customers buy vehicles.

“Like in so many other industries, it is now commonplace to pre-order,” she says. “This allows our audience to customize their vehicle and get exactly what they want. Once upon a time, custom orders were reserved for luxury brands—we’re now proudly offering pre-orders across all of our brands.”

The overall value of the Ray Brandt Auto Group has grown by 123 percent under Jessica’s leadership and will continue trailblazing its path to success.
