Palmisano Grows Management Team
NEW ORLEANS – Palmisano, a local construction group, announced in a press release that Erika K. Bush has joined the management team as vice president, legal, where she will lead the company’s risk mitigation and management program. Bush brings 17 years of legal expertise including commercial construction contract negotiation and effectively managing litigation, arbitration, claims, and disputes with a variety of industry stakeholders.
According to Palmisano, Bush adheres to the philosophy of learning and understanding a business in order to develop sound legal principles to meet the needs of a company. She is passionate about delivering practical solutions to achieve business objectives and working with her colleagues to implement positive changes to deliver services effectively and efficiently.
Bush most recently served as director of construction risk management and in-house counsel for a national insurance provider where she consulted with some of the largest general contractors in the region regarding complex construction claims. She has also served as in-house counsel and risk manager for a local general contractor and general counsel for a local civil subcontractor.
Bush received her bachelor of arts from Louisiana State University and her juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center, where she graduated cum laude. She has been admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association, Federal District Courts of Louisiana, and U.S. Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit.
