Palmisano Announces the First Annual Renegade Fest

NEW ORLEANS – Local construction firm, Palmisano, will hold the First Annual Renegade Fest benefitting Youth Rebuilding New Orleans. The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Palmisano’s headquarters (1730 Tchoupitoulas Street).

Inspired by a vision for smarter, healthier cities, Palmisano wants to become a source for social innovation. According to a press release, the festival is designed to support educational initiatives for the youth and AEC industry in the communities Palmisano serves.

“Partnerships with visionary non-profit organizations like YRNO are paramount to furthering Palmisano’s mission to empower the next generation of leaders.  We want to help them share their best work with the world,” said Palmisano’s founder, Wes Palmisano.  “We are happy to support YRNO’s mission to continue revitalizing neighborhoods while helping New Orleans educators become homeowners.”

“Many of our industry partners are working alongside our team for the event.  We’re grateful for their meaningful support of YRNO and Renegade Fest.  We’re going to make an impact,” said Palmisano. “This is the first of many successful Renegade Fests to come.”

Palmisano is also currently partnering with Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans through JA’s BizTown, a simulated, fully-interactive town and education experiences for elementary school teachers.
