I saw the need for socks in New Orleans. No one was doing fun, Louisiana-themed socks. And no one was really doing the one-for-one business model, either.

Janna Hart Black, owner and designer of Bonfolk, speaking to Keith Twitchell on his weekly blog, “Neighborhood Biz” about how she measures the success of her sock company by how many socks it donates to homeless individuals.
