Ochsner Westside’s Gates Named 2016 National Role Model By Minority Access, Inc.
MARRERO, LA – Dr. L’Issa L. Gates, a pediatric physician at Ochsner Westside in Marrero, LA has been named a 2016 National Role Model by Minority Access, Incorporated for her extraordinary contributions to the healing sciences and unwavering commitment to community service.
Dr. Gates earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana and Doctor of Medicine Degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans.
