NEW ORLEANS – This Saturday, August 13, 2016, residents and visitors are invited to come out to participating McDonald’s restaurant locations in New Orleans for the second “Coffee With Cops” event.

From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., attendees will have an opportunity to meet with neighborhood patrol officers and enjoy a free cup of coffee. The event is a public-private partnership that aims to bring together police officers and the community they serve.

This event has expanded to all eight police districts.

         Participating McDonald's locations include:

• 2757 Canal Street (First District)

• 3443 S Carrollton Avenue (Second District)

• 3025 Elysian Fields Avenue (Third District)

• 4589 General Meyer Avenue (Fourth District)

• 2609 St. Claude Avenue (Fifth District)

• 3321 St. Charles Avenue (Sixth District)

• 6005 Bullard Avenue (Seventh District)

• 711 Canal Street (Eighth District)

Earlier this year, the ownership of these McDonald’s restaurants partnered with the NOPD’s “Get Behind The Badge” recruitment campaign by featuring recruitment advertisements on paper tray liners served to dine-in customers at dozens of restaurants across the New Orleans region.
