New Stone Showroom Will Open this Spring

NEW ORLEANS – Local home and business renovators are in luck. A space that may become Louisiana’s largest stone showroom will open on Airline Drive this spring. Details were shared in a press release.

Stone Interiors, a stone fabrication shop that specializes in granite, marble, engineered quartz and quartzite, allows customers the opportunity to compare stone slabs, select sinks and faucets, and design their ideal countertop or vanity.

The new space gives Stone Interiors room to grow. It features a bright, modern design, and includes a large retail space dedicated to stone, tile, sinks and accessories. An additional 15,000-square feet of climate-controlled warehouse space will house the company’s selection of over 200 stone slabs from top brands — all under one roof. State of the art robotic sawjet cutting and digital vein-matching technology will be available in the production area of the warehouse, providing ultimate precision for all residential and commercial fabrication jobs.

Owner John Cognevich strategically selected the location on Airline Drive for its convenience. Since Stone Interiors conducts business throughout South Louisiana,  the new showroom and retail space will be accessible to its clients.

"Our clients like to see, touch, and feel the stone before it’s installed in their home; and we’re giving them a comfortable space to take their time and view their slabs,” said Cognevich.

Stone Interiors was founded more than 20 years ago, and now includes three locations. Stone Interiors New Orleans is the only fabrication shop in the state to be fully accredited by the Natural Stone Institute.
