WORLD TRADE CENTER-SPEAKER SERIES — The World Trade Center of New Orleans will host the fourth and final installment of its 2014 Executive Speaker Series featuring Jim O'Neil, chief executive officer and president of Quanta Services. He will discuss the 21st century energy infrastructure perspectives in the electric power sector and oil and gas sector, 8:00 a.m. Speaker keynote at 8:45 a.m. Location: Westin Canal Place Hotel, 11th Floor, Crescent Ballroom, 100 Iberville St., New Orleans.

 

BOSSIER SHERIFF-FOOD BOXES — Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington will host a press event to discuss the office's delivery of nearly 500 food boxes to residents who may otherwise not have a meal as part of Operation Blessing, 9:00 a.m. Location: Viking Drive Substation, 2510 Viking Dr., Bossier City.
