Aug. 4 – BOSSIER SCHOOLS — Officials hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new school in Bossier Parish, 3:00 p.m. Location: 601 Kingston Rd., Benton.

 

Aug. 4 – AWARDS BANQUET — East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux and his office host its 7th annual awards banquet to honor deputies who have gone above and beyond to serve the community, 6:30 p.m. Location: Healing Place Church, Main Building, 19202 Highland Rd., Baton Rouge.
