May 2 – GOVERNOR'S – LT. GOVERNOR'S – FORUM — Crimefighters, the state's largest victims' rights organization, hosts a forum for candidates for governor and lieutenant governor. Sen. David Vitter, Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle, state Sen. John Bel Edwards have confirmed participation. In the Lt. Gov.'s forum, Jefferson Parish President John Young, former Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser and state Sen.
