The round-robin collegiate baseball tournament was launched by MLB in 2008 to place an annual spotlight on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their baseball programs, and this year features Grambling State University, Southern University, Alcorn State University, and Prairie View A&M, as well as University of New Orleans and Louisiana Tech University. *Other events include three youth events – a private youth baseball clinic, a PLAY BALL event, a Scotts MLB Pitch, Hit and Run competition
