New Orleans East Hospital Announces the Appointment of New CFO

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans East Hospital announced Danielle S. Willis, CPA, as its first female chief financial officer. Willis has been a part of the New Orleans East Hospital family since October 2016, and previously served as senior financial accountant, finance manager, and most recently as interim chief financial officer. Details were shared in a press release.

“We are pleased to have Danielle on our team as our new CFO,” said Dr. Takeisha Davis, president and CEO of New Orleans East Hospital. “We are confident in her ability to lead New Orleans East Hospital into a new phase of profitable growth.”

Willis possesses over nine years of finance and accounting experience, including roles in public accounting, financial accounting, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and financial planning. Willis is a native New Orleanian, and a graduate of Eleanor McMain High school. She earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. Willis is also a certified public accountant licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi.
