New Orleans Business Community Welcomes Copa Airlines CEO At Breakfast Event
NEW ORLEANS – More than 100 business and community leaders came together to welcome and hear from Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron at a Greater New Orleans, Inc. and Pan-American Life Insurance Group hosted breakfast event today, Friday, May 22, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., at the Westin New Orleans at Canal Place in the Grand Ballroom.
Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A. (NYSE: CPA), and member of the Star Alliance global airline network, announced in April they will be offering direct non-stop service from New Orleans to Panama City, Panama, this June 24th, with quick connections to more than 50 locations in Central and South America.
From the Hub of the Americas, Copa Airlines offers flights to more international destinations than any other airline from any other hub in Latin America.
New Orleans is Copa Airlines’ 11th U.S. destination and its 71st overall.
