New Orleans Architecture Firm EskewDumezRipple Announces Director of Interior Design

NEW ORLEANS — EskewDumezRipple, an award-winning architecture, interiors, and urban design firm, is announced the elevation of associate Jill Traylor to director of interior design. Details were shared in a press release.

The appointment reinforces the firm’s dedication to interior design as a distinct focus in its practice. Over the years, the firm has been the recipient of over twenty awards for interiors at the national, regional, and local level and maintaining an in-house interior design division to react to the space planning requirements of clients is central to the studio’s seamless integration of architecture and interiors.

Traylor brings over 20 years of national expertise in the design of interiors, having practiced in Manhattan, Dallas, and her hometown of New Orleans. Since joining EskewDumezRipple in 2014, she has proved an integral leader in many of the studio’s most successful projects, notably the award-winning The Shop at the CAC, Tsunami Restaurant in New Orleans, and Palmisano’s Corporate Headquarters.

“Jill brings a holistic outlook to the integration of interiors in our projects that is warm, welcoming, and ultimately exceptionally thoughtful,” added Director of Design Steve Dumez. “In recognizing the complexity of the spaces we create, we see this as an investment in not only the long-term growth of the firm and its work, but an investment in our team and the continued success of our interiors division.”

In this position, Traylor will be leading the day-to-day strategy and creative direction for the interior design team, as well as mentoring and fostering the development of not only younger interior designers, but architectural staff studio-wide.
