MVN Lock and Waterway Status 60-Day Forecast 1416
The Corps’ Mississippi Valley New Orleans (MVN) District’s Lock and Waterway Status 60-Day Forecast as updated on January 4, 2016 is attached.
On Jan 13, 2016 the Old River Lock will be closed all day and night to navigation until further notice. Due to high water, flood protection plates will be installed on the gates. The lock will reopen to navigation when the Mississippi River recedes below 60.5 on the Red River Landing gage.
