Duties on advisory council will include providing economic information from the tourism sector
New Orleans, LA – September 24, 2014 – The Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta has appointed Mark Romig, President and CEO of New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation (NOTMC) to its Travel & Tourism Advisory Council.
The Travel and Tourism Advisory Council members offer up-to-date economic information on their respective sectors, which include convention and visitors' bureaus, cruise lines, airports, restaurants, entertainment, and hotels. The council provides valuable intelligence on economic factors such as costs, prices, labor, investments, and more on an ongoing basis.
Romig, also a board member of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association since 2013, has been President and Chief Executive Officer of NOTMC since 2011.
