LSU Press Announces New Marketing and Sales Manager
BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Press is pleased to announce that James D. Wilson, Jr., will join the staff as marketing and sales manager for LSUP and The Southern Review, beginning Monday, Dec. 17. The announcement was made in a press release.
Wilson boasts 15 years of experience in book publishing and recently served as associate director of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Press.
During his tenure at UL Press, he monitored the day-to-day operations of the press, acquiring and editing, directing advertising and marketing campaigns, and overseeing sales and distribution.
A graduate of Tulane University, with masters degrees in history from Cornell University and from University of Southwestern Louisiana, Wilson has also taught as an adjunct in the UL history department for the past 14 years. He has served as secretary-treasurer of the Louisiana Historical Association since 2006.
