Currently in its final stages of renovations, the 3,000-passenger Riverboat Louis Armstrong is set to become New Orleans’ newest event venue and home to Sunday Louis Armstrong gospel jazz brunches. At four decks high — one of the largest riverboats in the region — it is owned by Hospitality Enterprises, owner of the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen, Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours and City Sightseeing Busses.
On Jan. 28, the riverboat’s main decal was installed at Buck Kreihs Repair on the Westbank. The decal reaches approximately 27.5 feet high and just over 32 feet wide.
