Long Line Down Magazine Street For All Day, Free Sandwich Giveaway At The Biz Cheezy’s Uptown Grand Opening
NEW ORLEANS – The Big Cheezy is celebrating the grand opening of its new Uptown location, at 5101 Magazine St., by offering every walk-in grilled cheese enthusiast customer a totally free meal including one of the restaurant's Signature Grilled Cheez, a side and a fountain drink, from 11:00 a.m. to midnight.
Josh Fogarty, one of The Big Cheezy’s four owners, said he and his partners were motivated to open their 3rd location in Uptown New Orleans. “All four of us live in New Orleans and three of us live in different parts of Uptown,” he said. “We have wanted to be able to serve our area since day one and couldn't be happier now that we are finally on Magazine Street.”
The Magazine Street location features new Big Cheezy Signature’s like the Cheezy Steak Burger Melt, Shrimp Remoulade and Big Bird. In addition, it will feature two new menu items unique to this location; the Cajun Patty (hot sausage, cheddar, Monterey Jack, and grilled green peppers on country white) and a FryCheezy (seasoned waffle fries, bacon, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese on country white).
The Big Cheezy on Magazine Street will be open Wednesdays to Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
