London Calling: As British Airways Begins New Orleans Service, GNO, Inc. Plans June International Summit

NEW ORLEANS – British Airways service between Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and London Heathrow begins today, as flights begin to take off four times a week crossing the Atlantic.

In celebration, GNO, Inc. announced plans to lead a business mission and international summit in London called “London Calling,” from June 3-7.

The two and a half day initiative is intended not only to celebrate the new flight, but to foster a deeper understanding of London and the UK’s post-Brexit economic landscape, while exploring commerce opportunities for stakeholders of south Louisiana, GNO, Inc. reps said.

The Louisiana delegation will include approximately 80 key corporate executives, elected officials and top community leaders from a diverse set of industry sectors. While in London, the delegation will hear from local experts, corporate and government entities across a number of sectors including energy, tourism and hospitality, advanced manufacturing and digital/tech and creative. Participants will also have the supplemental opportunity to engage in private, targeted business discussions with UK companies interested in mutually beneficial commerce opportunities.

GNO, Inc. reps said “London Calling” is your chance to get on board with the renewed economic and cultural connection between London and Greater New Orleans.
