Lafayette’s PetroQuest Energy Inc. sells Eagle Ford Assets.

Oil exploration and production company netted $9.7 million

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Lafayette-based PetroQuest Energy Inc. says it netted $9.7 million from the just-completed sale of its Eagle Ford assets.

The Advocate reports PetroQuest's leases in the Texas formation produced the equivalent of 195 barrels of oil per day.

PetroQuest is an exploration and production company with reserves in Texas, Louisiana and the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
