Are you using all the assets of the Biz Network?

In June, we took home national awards from the largest association in the country of area business publications, and last month, at the 64th annual Excellence in Journalism awards gala, we again won local Press Club honors. In fact, over the past 8 years since the launch of Biz New Orleans, no other local media has more honors for business journalism than this Biz Network.

In addition to the nationally awarded Biz New Orleans monthly magazine, our editorial team produces an award-winning local podcast, “Biz Talks.” Every Tuesday, you can hear in-depth, behind-the-scenes conversations from local business leaders on what is moving the business scene in the New Orleans area.

Whether the topic is the changing landscape of healthcare with Warner Thomas, how technology is helping control some of the crime wave from Rafael Goyeneche, or from one of the first episodes, how COVID changed restaurants forever with Jennifer Weishaupt, these award-winning podcasts are all available at the click of a button on BizNewOrleans.com, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Speaking of BizNewOrleans.com, this website continues to build up mountains of news and resources business leaders use to stay on top of the local business scene throughout the Greater New Orleans area. In addition to daily news, there are local blog resources at your fingertips, including a complete section dedicated to people on the move, a go-to for who is moving up and around in the business community.

This year, we also launched the New Orleans 500, a book of influential, involved and inspiring executives that has been overwhelmingly received. It is one of our most requested publications at Renaissance Publishing. We are in the early stages of producing the 2023 edition and planning for new ways for you to access the content of this invaluable publication.

Finally, I would hope you are receiving all this information daily from our editors right to your inbox with our daily newsletters. Every day at 6 a.m., you can receive Morningbiz, content catered specifically to your interests using AI. As you click and read stories, this technology continues to deliver more of the content you want to see. Additionally, our editors work daily to uncover local news, and each afternoon the Biz Daily newsletter comes to your inbox.

If you are not signed up, just send me an email at todd@bizneworleans.com with the subject line “newsletter” and we will get you included to the most awarded and best biz insider news around.

Have a great August.
