James Carville To Deliver Keynote Address At Jefferson Chamber Annual Meeting

KENNER, LA – Renowned political strategist James Carville will deliver the keynote address at the Jefferson Chamber Annual Meeting Luncheon on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce will host the sold-out Annual Meeting Luncheon at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport Hotel, 2829 Williams Blvd., in Kenner, LA.
Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon and program at 12:00 p.m.
The event is an opportunity for members to celebrate business accomplishments from the past year and to preview the Chamber’s vision for the year ahead. The Chamber will recognize the change in leadership from 2015 Board Chairman, Todd Matherne of Renaissance Publishing, to 2016 Board Chairman, Mike Palamone of Urban Systems Associates, Inc.
The Chamber will also present the Ambassador of the Year Award, Board Member of the Year Award, President’s Award, Chairman’s Award and Young Professional Emerging Leader Award.
James Carville is considered one of America’s best-known political consultants. His long list of electoral successes evidences a knack for steering overlooked campaigns to unexpected landslide victories and for re-making political underdogs into upset winners. His most prominent victory was in 1992 when he helped William Jefferson Clinton win the Presidency.
In recent years, Carville has not been a paid political consultant for any domestic politicians or candidates for office, instead focusing on campaigns in more than 20 countries around the globe. Carville has also authored/ co-authored 8-New York Times best sellers. His recent book with Republican counterpart and wife, Mary Matalin, Love and War: Twenty Years, Three Presidents, Two Daughters and One Louisiana Home was released in 2014. He also serves as a Professor of Practice at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he now resides.
