Inaugural Camellia City Smooth Jazz Festival, Celebrity Golf Tournament To Promote, Present, Preserve Contemporary Jazz Music

SLIDELL, LA – Jin Jeans Productions presents the first annual Camellia City Smooth Jazz Festival, the first contemporary jazz festival in southeast Louisiana. The inaugural three-day event promises to be a definite crowd pleaser for smooth jazz fans from Friday, Oct. 6 – Sunday, Oct. 8.

The festival is Jin Jeans’ concept, pairing internationally-renowned jazz artists with some of the very best local musicians, creating a unique music fusion unlike any other, organizers said. This distinctive blend of contemporary jazz with a “Big Easy” musical influence is jazz at its best, they said.

The music festival takes place on Saturday, Oct. 7, on the picturesque grounds of the Northshore Harbor Center, 100 Harbor Center Blvd., along the banks of Lake Pontchartrain in Slidell, The Camellia City.
