HotelsCombined Names New Orleans’ Ace, Henry Howard, R&B Top Hotels In Louisiana

NEW ORLEANS – One of the world’s leading hotel price comparison platforms, HotelsCombined, announced the results for its Recognition of Excellence awards. This year, the finalists in the state of Louisiana for Best Hotels in a Metropolitan Area are The Remington Suite Hotel and Spa in Shreveport, and in New Orleans, the Ace Hotel, R&B Bed and Breakfast and Maison Perrier. Winner Henry Howard Hotel is also in New Orleans.

         Those finalists earning the honor of Best Small City Hotels in Louisiana are Dansereau House in Thibodaux, and Hamilton House Inn in West Monroe. The winner is Nottoway Resort in White Castle.

         The Sydney, Australia based HotelsCombined has offered its prestigious award program in Australia, United Kingdom and throughout Europe since 2014. This represents the second year for the awards program in the United States for the global company.

         In addition to the Metropolitan and Small City winners, the finalists in each category were identified for their outstanding customer experience. Both finalists and winners of the HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence awards represent the highest standards in the industry. All finalists scored at least 9.0 out of a possible 10 points, placing them within the top 10 percent of hotels in the U.S.

         Hotel finalists and winners are chosen following detailed analysis by HotelsCombined’s team of data experts following several criteria, including quality and quantity of user reviews, customer rating, the absence of recurring or unresolved issues, social media posts, blogs and forums. “This year’s winners represent the best of the best in the United States,” Rivett said. “These hotels aren’t just a place to stay while you’re traveling – their keen attention to detail and customer experience make each hotel on our list a destination in itself.”
