Home for the Holidays
Jefferson Parish offers deals and delightful holiday events

The holiday season can be a challenging time for travelers. They might miss their favorite traditions back home or struggle to find festive activities at their destination. Even locals can feel the strain when they host out-of-town guests. Jefferson Convention and Visitors Bureau (JCVB) aims to remedy that with its new campaign, Home for the Holidays.
The seasonal campaign will run from Dec. 1 through Jan. 2 as part of JCVB’s more general Visit Jefferson Parish marketing. JCVB has partnered with its member businesses and encouraged them to create holiday specials and discounts at hotels, restaurants and events throughout the month.
The current specials and promotions include a 10 percent discount on season and single game tickets for NOLA Gold Rugby, a $10 discount for Jefferson Performing Arts Society tickets to performances of either "The Santaland Diaries" or "White Christmas," a 20 percent discount on a hotel stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New Orleans Airport, and Destrehan Plantation’s 12 Deals of Christmas at their Plantation Store, which runs now through Dec. 12.
For Jefferson Parish residents, The National WWII Museum is offering $2 off adult and $1 off student/child/military rate museum campus pass tickets. To find the discount codes and directions for the promotions, visit the JCVB website.
There are dozens of events in Jefferson Parish that Home for the Holidays is promoting as well.
