Hispanic Chamber to Host Aug. 8 Business and Trade Show
NEW ORLEANS — The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana will be hosting the Hispanic Business and Trade Show on Aug. 8 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The event is an opportunity for businesses to market goods and services to the Hispanic business community.

Blue Wave will present a panel titled “Assisting Businesses to Access Supplier Contracts.” Alma del Toro will share tips on what government agencies and corporations look for when awarding contracts, along with best practices and common mistakes to avoid.
JP Morgan Chase will present “Access to Capital and Opportunity.” Marina Manzanares and Diogenes Reyes will discuss capital accessibility for small businesses, explore various types and sources of funding, and talk about strategies to remove barriers for minority entrepreneurs.
