Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center Hosts Mayoral, City Council Candidate Forum Tonight
NEW ORLEANS – Tonight, the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center (GNOFHAC), Providence Community Housing and the Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance (GNOHA) will host the “Proud to Call it Home: Candidate Forum on Housing Issues” for New Orleans Mayoral and City Council candidates.
The event will be held at the Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center, 2200 Lafitte St., from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., and will be free and open to the public.
WWL-TV morning news anchor Eric Paulsen will serve as moderator.
The evening’s program incudes:
5:00 p.m.: Doors open to the public
5:30 p.m.: Mayoral candidates
6:15 p.m.: Council At-Large 1
6:30 p.m.: Council At-Large 2
6:45 p.m.: Council District C
7:00 p.m.: Council District D
7:10 p.m.: Council District A
7:30 p.m.: Council District E
7:50 p.m.: Council District B
