Great-Granddaughter Of Seersucker Suit Founder To Attend Restaurant R’evolution’s Inaugural Seersucker & White Linen Wine Dinner

NEW ORLEANS – Restaurant R’evolution will host the inaugural Seersucker & White Linen Wine Dinner on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 777 Bienville St., inside the newly renovated Royal Sonesta New Orleans hotel, at 6:00 p.m.
The exclusive 50-seat Seersucker & White Linen Wine Dinner will feature guest speakers Bill Haltom, author of “Milk & Sugar: The Complete Book of Seersucker,” and Baton Rouge native Laurie Aronson, owner of Lipsey’s & Haspel and the great-granddaughter of the originator of the seersucker suit Joseph Haspel Sr.
The night’s theme will resonate throughout the event, with seersucker adorned tabletops, linens and room décor, plus restaurant-team attire, all matching to commemorate the celebrated fabric.
Guests will begin the evening promptly at 6:00 p.m. with passed hors d’oeuvres, immediately followed by a specially curated, five-course dinner menu with selected wine pairings:
