Gardner Realtors Welcomes David Favret to Lead Garden District Office
NEW ORLEANS — Gardner Realtors announced the appointment of David Favret as the full-time sales manager/broker of the Gardner Garden District office, effective immediately. David joins the Gardner team with more than 15 years of real estate experience, with the goal of supporting Realtors in their career through training, coaching and development; which he has been doing for the last few years as the managing broker of another local real estate company.
“We are excited to welcome David Favret, to the Gardner family. Favret has shown love for the community, and holds at heart the best interest of the city and those willing to invest in its success and future. He brings with him a great deal of experience and his character aligns with the values that remain at the core of Gardner Realtors for over 75 years,” said Glenn Gardner, president of Gardner Realtors.
A native of New Orleans, David Favret began his career in the restaurant/service industry. As a restaurant manager and owner, Favret developed skills for customer satisfaction and personal advancement, which he retained as he moved on to a new career in real estate in 2005. After nine years of service, his French Quarter restaurant, Quarter Scene Restaurant was not able to reopen after Hurricane Katrina and Favret found a new career. What spoke to him in the service industry translated to real estate: complete customer commitment, coupled with tireless self-motivation, paved the way for over fifteen years of growth and success.
Favret is committed to the city of New Orleans and its rich history and serves as a tour guide and has volunteered with the Friends of the Cabildo and Preservation Resource Center. He has lectured on the city’s early history and architecture and educates first-time homebuyers interested in historic neighborhoods. Knowing the story of New Orleans gives him a greater understanding of the city’s historical and architectural background and plays well with his career in real estate. Favret was also elected to the board of directors for New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR) and serves on numerous NOMAR committees. He was also appointed to the board of directors for Louisiana Realtors and serves on several Louisiana Realtors state boards.
“Joining the Gardner Realtors team is a perfect fit,” says Favret. “I was born and raised in New Orleans, my husband and I are raising our son here, and my family and roots are here. Joining a local company culture that shares my love for the area and enthusiasm for helping people create the life they love really makes me feel like I’m coming home.”
As sales manager/broker, Favret will motivate his team of 79 Realtors by utilizing Gardner’s Ninja training program and through membership in Gardner’s partnerships of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, Luxury Portfolio International, Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate and the Realty Alliance. Gardner Realtors consistently ranks in the top one percent of all real estate companies worldwide by providing its real estate professionals and clients unrivaled support and services by being the only company in the region that is a member of the top four international real estate networks.
Sales manager/broker Tracie Myers of Gardner Realtors’ Uptown office is excited to welcome Favret to the Gardner team so that they can lead together in the Uptown/ Garden District markets.
“I know David will experience the same joy I feel in leading a team of optimistic Realtors who genuinely support each other,” she said. “The culture and environment that the Gardner family has created based on values, integrity and love is one I hope everyone can experience.”
