Galatoire’s Restaurant To Host Pop-Up Dining Series In London For Saints International Game

NEW ORLEANS – Galatoire’s Restaurant announced that the Colony Grill Room at the award-winning London hotel, The Beaumont, 8 Balderton St., Brown Hart Gardens, in Mayfair, will host Galatoire’s for a pop-up dining series for guests traveling to the New Orleans Saints v. Miami Dolphins NFL International Series game, on Sunday Oct. 1, at Wembley Stadium, and for New Orleans-loving Londoners alike. 

         From Wednesday, Sept. 27, through Saturday, Sept. 30, The Colony Grill’s à la carte lunch and dinner menu will feature the classics Galatoire’s is known for, such as Gulf Fish Amandine, Crabmeat Maison, Shrimp Remoulade and others, alongside The Colony Grill’s own dishes. 

         In addition, Galatoire’s will also be hosting wine dinners in the Lotos Room featuring wines from Louis Jadot, Veuve Clicquot and DAOU Vineyards beginning Thursday, Sept. 28, and continuing through Saturday, Sept. 30.

         The first dinner of the Galatoire’s pop-up wine dinner series in London will take place on Thursday, Sept. 28, and will feature wines by Louis Jadot. Founded in 1859, the Jadot family produces and markets Burgundy wine that express the true nature of the terroir, restaurant reps said.

         The second installment of the Galatoire’s pop-up wine dinner series will feature the French Champagnes of Veuve Clicquot on Friday, Sept. 29. Based in Reims, Veuve Clicquot produces some of the most highly regarded champagnes throughout the world, restaurant reps said.

         From the vineyards of DAOU Mountain in Paso Robles, California, Galatoire’s third and final pop-up wine dinner will feature the wines of DAOU Vineyards on Saturday, Sept. 30. Crafted with a profound respect for the environment, DAOU wines rival the very best red appellations in the world, restaurant reps said.

         Each Galatoire’s wine dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will feature creations by Executive Chef Michael Sichel and Head Chef of The Beaumont Hotel Christian Turner that will complement the featured wines, selected by Galatoire’s Sommelier Rene Sudduth.

         All tickets are £112.50 or $145.74 per guest (service tax included).
