“These individuals have not only attained remarkable success in their respective fields or careers, but have proven their steadfast commitment to the betterment of our city through their many civic contributions,” said Cleveland Spears, III, the president and CEO of the Spears Group.

“Although the generation as a whole largely gets a bad rap, we saw how instrumental millennials were in the rebuilding of New Orleans post-Katrina and created these awards as a result,” he added. “Each year, we are increasingly awe-struck by the accomplishments of our nominees, many of whom have done more in their young lives than most in an entire lifetime.”
