Farm & Table Jamboree To Feature Local Chefs, Cooking Demos

NEW ORLEANS – The Farm & Table Jamboree is a free, open to the public, family-fun festival, with local food and music, interactive gardening and cooking demos with nationally recognized chefs, games, displays and interactive kids zone featuring live farm animals, and more, that will take place Saturday, Sept. 9, outside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center at 900 Convention Center Blvd., at the corner of Julia Street, from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

         At the festival, attendees will learn more about incorporating a “farm to table” approach with at-home useful tips and techniques. They’ll also enjoy free samples and tastings from vendors, browse the bustling marketplace, win prize swag and more.

         Parking will be available at the Hilton Whale Wall Lot, 728 Convention Center Blvd., directly in front of the Riverwalk food court entrance and next to MCCNO’s main entrance. Rates will vary from $10.00 – $18.00.

         The festival will go on rain or shine.
