EO Louisiana to host XCentric Conference in 2020

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Building on their success as the fastest growing chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization in the nation, EO Louisiana has been selected as the host of the 2020 XCentric conference. Details were shared in a press release.

Held annually for EO members of the Central Region, XCentric is designed as a “multi-day learning event” that connects entrepreneurs with world-renowned speakers and business leaders. The event is similar in structure and mission to the annual conferences held by EO Global, but instead serves as an arena for the Central U.S. chapters to collaborate in a more intimate setting.

“EO Global hosts annual events called Universities that showcase the best speakers and provide once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, often in unbelievable destinations,” said Joshua Loeske, integration chair for EO Louisiana. “XCentric allows for the same top-notch event to be held closer to home, and the smaller setting allows us to foster greater connectivity amongst the attending entrepreneurs.”

The conference has formerly been held in major metropolitan areas such as Austin, Detroit and Dallas, with the latter serving as the host of the 2019 conference. October 2020 will mark the first time that XCentric is organized and hosted by the Louisiana chapter, a challenge that Loeske said they are ready to take on. As a departure from EO norms, EOLA plans to partner with its strong community partners on the event.

“New Orleans is such an exclusive town, and EO has had amazing success working with the likes of the LED, Goldman Sachs, GNO Inc, Tulane, Loyola and the Idea Village in the past that we feel like they need to be a part of this historic event. The more the merrier,” said chapter president Erik Frank.

“With over 13,000 EO members globally, and over 65 billion dollars in annual revenue between them, this is a hugely influential and connected group of individuals,” said Loeske. “We must show them the value our region holds for entrepreneurs. These are the owners of second-stage companies that are in growth mode, are key contributors to any geography’s economic expansion, and are the key employers in the workforce.”
