East Jefferson General Hospital Announces Agreement With Tulane Neurosurgery Group

EJGH Metairie campus will feature Tulane neurosurgical services.

East Jefferson General Hospital has entered into an agreement with Tulane University Medical Group to provide neurosurgical services, including enhanced cranial and spinal care at its Metairie campus.

“This new relationship gives all EJGH patients access to the highest standard of care in neurosurgery,” notes Mark J. Peters, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of the community hospital. “This group of physicians brings with them the clinical expertise required for complex endovascular care, aneurysm treatments, and embolization procedures. Previously these cutting edge skill sets were not available at East Jefferson. It’s a great day for neurosurgical care – new treatments and procedures will be available to all of our patients.”

The group of physicians has a clinic on the East Jefferson campus, located at 4224 Houma Boulevard, Suite 550. The practice accepts all major insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid.
