Dolce Advertising Celebrates 60 Years In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – Dolce Advertising announced its 60th anniversary.
Founded in 1956, Charles Dolce Advertising, Inc. first opened its doors in the old Godchaux Office Building in the Central Business District.
At that same time, WWL-TV was just beginning to broadcast its first black-and-white images to the city, the Crescent City Connection had just held its ribbon cutting joining the West and East Banks, and UNO was just opening its doors.
Today, six decades later, Charles’s son, Perry Dolce, carries on the family advertising legacy at the agency’s Mid-City location on Canal Street with clients including Aucoin Hart Jewelers, Bedding Plus, The Womac Law Firm, La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery and Metairie Bank among others.
According to Dolce, “It’s a testament to my Father that the business he founded back in those ‘Golden Days of Advertising’ in New Orleans is still thriving today. We solve our clients’ marketing needs by using a strategic blend of creativity, innovative marketing, imagination and digital technology.”
