"The development of the River City Campus and Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence will help the Parish to achieve goals outlined in the Jefferson EDGE 2020," said Jerry Bologna, JEDCO President & CEO. "The campus will cultivate skilled workers to meet the needs of our water-related trades, an industry cluster targeted through our long-term economic development strategic plan with the highest opportunities for growth. This campus will serve our community and our businesses very well. We look forward to working with Delgado Community College to ensure this project's success in the future."

"All of us at Delgado Community College are grateful to Governor Edwards and the Legislature for enabling this new educational resource to become reality here in Jefferson Parish," said Joan Y. Davis, Chancellor of Delgado Community College. "As a result of their actions, the workforce of our region will be better prepared for jobs in key industry sectors.
